Beyond your Base Salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to provide a variety of choices to best fit your needs and the needs of you and your family.
  • Comprehensive Health Insurance through the South Carolina State Health Plan. We offer two options for health insurance coverage, the Standard Plan, a high premium, low deductible plan and the "Savings Plan", a low deductible, high premium plan.
  • For individuals that are currently covered by Medicare, we offer a "Medicare Supplement Plan" which pays part of Medicare approved charges not paid by Medicare. 
  • Are you or your Spouse Members of the United States Armed Forces and are covered by TriCare? We have an insurance policy that may cover some fees that TriCare doesn't. TriCare beneficiaries may enroll in our "TriCare Supplement Plan".
  • Prescription Benefits Program with low co-pays for many drugs.
  • Two tiered dental plan with basic and enhanced offerings available.
  • Vision insurance with Lasik benefits.
  • We offer several options for Life Insurance including Basic Life, Optional Life and Dependent Life for your Spouse and Child Dependents.

Annual vacation leave and sick leave is earned/accrued by all regular, full-time employees and is available for use after one year of service. As your length of service with the Town increases, so does your leave benefits. Full-time employees enjoy the following paid holidays:
