Human Resources functions of the Town of Yemassee are overseen by the Administration Department. Our directive is to assist Town departments in developing and maintaining a dedicated, motivated and highly efficient workforce that provides stellar service to our constituents while maintaining compliance with federal and state employment laws.

- Comprehensive Health Insurance through the South Carolina State Health Plan. We offer two options for health insurance coverage, the Standard Plan, a high premium, low deductible plan and the "Savings Plan", a low deductible, high premium plan.
- For individuals that are currently covered by Medicare, we offer a "Medicare Supplement Plan" which pays part of Medicare approved charges not paid by Medicare.
- Are you or your Spouse Members of the United States Armed Forces and are covered by TriCare? We have an insurance policy that may cover some fees that TriCare doesn't. TriCare beneficiaries may enroll in our "TriCare Supplement Plan".

- Weekly paychecks by direct deposit.
- Full-Time employees whom reside within the Town limits for at least six months are eligible for an annual residency stipend of $1,000 paid annually.
Generous PTO Plan and Thirteen Paid Holidays
A work / life balance is critical for the well-being of our personnel. Annual vacation leave and sick leave is earned/accrued by all regular, full-time employees and is available for use after one year of service. As your length of service with the Town increases, so does your leave benefits. Full-time employees enjoy the following paid holidays:
