The Town of Yemassee Zoning Ordinance is the official zoning document and guiding principals for planning in the Town of Yemassee. The Development Standards Ordinance provides a framework for both Planned Unit Developments and other large-scale commercial development. The most current edition of the Zoning Ordinance was revised in March of 2007 and was established under the authority of SC Code of Laws 6-29-330. Accompanying the Zoning Ordinance is the Official Zoning Map. The Official Zoning Map contains a map of the current Town of Yemassee corporate limits as well the individual zoning districts as it applies to each parcel. Official copies of the Zoning Map are available at the Yemassee Municipal Complex, the Beaufort County Planning Department & the Hampton County Building Inspection Department.
