Q: Do I pay my Property Taxes at the Town Hall?

A: No The Town of Yemassee does not collect its taxes. These are collected by the respective County Treasurer's Office. Beaufort County Treasurer & the Hampton County Treasurer's Office.

Q: Does the Town conduct the assessment on the value of my property?

A: No, the Town does not Assess real estate property for tax purposes. The Beaufort County Assessor or Hampton County Assessor conducts assessments on a periodic basis.

Q: Does the Town issue vehicle or property tax bills?

A: No, the Town does not issue vehicle tax, property tax, or personal property tax bills. These are issued by the respective County Auditors' Office. You may contact the Beaufort County Auditor or the Hampton County Auditors' Office for additional information.
