Biography
A native of Walterboro, South Carolina, Stacy is the youngest of three children, including Cynthia Jones and Wayne Pinckney born to the union of the late Thomas and Nadine Pinckney. Also raised by her parents and considered her sisters are Ida Pinckney and Shemeka Brown. Stacy is the mother of one son, Jamel Pinckney, whom she refers to as “the love of my life,” and her daughter-in-love is Shapel. Stacy has two grandchildren, Prince and Kenadi. Stacy is currently a resident of Yemassee, South Carolina, for more than 15 years.
After graduating from Walterboro High School, Stacy pursued studies in cosmetology and elementary education. She made a career of instructing and mentoring youth for over 30 years in public schools, churches, and Christian school. She also has more than 20 years of caring for the elderly. Stacy is considered a humble, caring, and kindhearted woman, who believes in the power of prayer. As her life reveals, she has a love for children and a strong commitment to cultivating youth to be fervent, powerful men and women of God and a love for taking care of the people. Stacy was elected into Office in November 2021 with her term running through November 2025.
