$250,000 Castle Hall Rd Sidewalk project to begin this Fall

The 1/3 of a mile project extends the sidewalk on Castle Hall Road to the Beaufort Housing Authority public housing project, connecting to the existing sidewalk at the intersection of Castle Hall Road and Wall Street. 14 street lights will be placed about 100 ft apart.  Additionally, the sidewalk from the intersection to the new Marine Corps Tribute Park at 16 Wall Street will be replaced and upgraded to match the new sidewalk and with new decorative lighting. The project has already commenced and is in the engineering phase, start date is likely fall of 2023 and the total cost is approximately $250,000.00.
