Tropical Weather affect on Building Permits

Pursuant to Town Ordinance and Building Permit Regulations, notice is hereby given that all active building permits in the Town of Yemassee will be suspended as of 7:00 PM today, Wednesday, November 9, 2022, due to a tropical weather event being forecast to affect the Beaufort & Hampton County area. All permit holders are required to secure all construction sites and tie down any loose material at the permitted location.
A follow-up notification will be issued when the weather event has passed and permit holders are allowed to resume work. The next scheduled inspection day will be Friday, November 18, 2022.
