The Town Government is closely monitoring the potential for adverse weather conditions forecast to affect our area tomorrow. In preparation, we are asking all permit holders and contractors to take appropriate precautions and steps at their job sites.
Please ensure that all building materials, equipment, and loose debris is properly secured outdoors or moved inside the structure whenever possible. If possible, roll off dumpsters should be covered with a tarp or an appropriate cover. These steps are essential to minimize the risk of loose construction materials causing damage to surrounding properties or creating safety hazards during the anticipated weather event.
As of publication, there are no changes to scheduled building inspections tomorrow. However, conditions may change rapidly and if conditions become unsafe for our personnel in the field, we will recall them and will reschedule them for the following day. Contractors may login to their portal account to view the most up-to-date status of their inspections and can request a re-inspection with one click.
