Women in Law Enforcement Recruiting Event

Beaufort County will host its first-ever multi-agency Women in Law Enforcement Recruiting Event in October. This effort ensures all county agencies with open positions can recruit quality candidates interested in law enforcement.

Participating agencies:
• Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office
• Beaufort Police Department
• Port Royal Police Department
• Bluffton Police Department
• Yemassee Police Department

The all-female recruiting event will be held on October 28, 2023, at 9 a.m., at the Bluffton Police Department at 101 Progressive Street, Bluffton, SC.

Those interested in participating will have the opportunity to speak with participating agencies and complete the physical agility course and a written test. Please note testing starts at 9 a.m. SHARP!

Participants are asked to wear athletic attire for the physical agility course and to bring a photo ID to the event.
