Hampton County District 1 Schools to Close Early

Hampton County Emergency Management is paying close attention to the severe weather expected here in Hampton County this afternoon and into the night. Hampton County Schools District 1 and District 2 will dismiss early today. I am not sure of the times. Patrick Henry will go a full day. This is due to the wind gust expected and the buses cannot be on the road after 30mph gust.

Due to the projected weather conditions, Hampton One will release early according to the following times: Ben Hazel, Brunson and Fennell- 11:15

Varnville Elementary - 11:20
Hampton Elementary - 11:30
North District Middle School - 11:45
Wade Hampton - 12:00

All after school activities including athletics and 21st Century Community Learning Centers will be canceled. Please make arrangements to pick up your students at the times you pick them up on the Early Release Day / Schedule.
